April & May 2008
We had the blessing to work with a team from Central Assembly of God in Cumberland Maryland. We worked in Miraflores El Salvador with Pastor Roberto and Paola Palacios building a feeding center for area children.
With the team from Cumberland Maryland we held a Vacation Bible School in Miraflores and a nearby community Candelaria where we ministered to the children.
Before each program we played with the children and did face painting. Many of the children responded to the Gospel.
June & July 2008
This summer we once again hosted all the teams that came to minister with Kings Castle in Nicaragua. We hosted teams from Minneapolis Minnestoa, Parma Ohio, Ormond Beach Florida, Whitefish Montana, Napa California, Deltona Florida, Columbus Georgia, Sacramento California and Mississippi District.
We reached over 41,000 people with the Gospel and 12, 560 people received Christ. The area churches accompanied our teams so that they can follow up with the new converts. Many people were healed and delivered as the AIM teams prayed for miracles. We also hosted construction teams in El Salvador. We hosted teams from Grand Rapids Michigan, Steubenville Ohio and Indianapolis Indiana. These teams worked on our barns, prayer fortress and Bible School extension.
August 2008
On August 2, 2008 our son Andrew was married to Kirsten Hinrichsen. The wedding was in Herculeneum Missouri. We are glad to welcome Kirsten into our family.
September 2008
God blessed us with help from Holland Michigan. A group of 9 people came and helped us on three projects: The barn for our agricultural projects, the communications studio and painting the Prayer Fortress.
On October 31, 2008 we will be celebrating 10 years of continuous prayer in our Prayer Fortress and we worked painting to get ready for the big celebration. If you have ever thought of coming back to El Salvador here is your chance to come to the homecoming. Everyone will be flying in around the 28th of October.
